We came away for Mother’s Day weekend and were lucky to have great weather.
Our two children (6 and 1) loved the playgrounds and swimming pool and of course the arcade ha ha.
We were impressed with the standard of the caravan including the boost heat function which was great for the chilly mornings. The facilities overall were very good although the playgrounds don’t really cater for the very little ones, all the equipment is for 4+ I’d say.
We ate from the Thai stall, Papa Johns and the Mash and Barrel, all great.
All staff we came across were super friendly. Definitely hope to be back!
Well what can I say!! This is the best park in Clacton-on-Sea well it’s in St Osyth. They have so much to do on this park! The caravans are absolutely gorgeous beds are clean and comfortable the caravan we was in was up to date the location was ok but as the park is soo big it was quite a walk but we didn’t mind as the weather was lovely & everybody was friendly & the staff are very friendly. On our 2nd night down there our heating went down & the security guard was straight on it & had it back up & running in no time. We had a lot of banter with the security guards 😁great people. We are definitely coming back to this park as we had such a fantastic time!!
My wife and I booked a 3 day weekend break at Clacton-on-Sea.
It was the first weekend of hosting (non-owner) guests for the 2018 season.
From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome by all of the reception team.
We had a lovely 6 berth caravan, and although the weather was cold, snowing and icy, we were warm and comfortable.
There is a well stocked shop on site, reasonably priced, and again with good service.
We ate and drank in the mash and barrel pub on site, the food was very good and the beer crisp and clean. Staff were very attentive.
The entertainment was great, and although we didn’t have kids with us, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Everyone in all areas of the park were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Great value for money, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, many thanks, we will be back!!
We are just back from a Monday - Friday stay. We were on the 'stay' package so didn't use any of the on-site facilities. The book-in was good and we easily found our caravan. It was excellent and very clean on a quiet part of the site near the golf course. We had no problems and really enjoyed our stay. We look forward to visiting again as we found it an excellent base for a holiday in this part of Essex.
